BRIDAL SHOWER FAVORS · OPTIONAL · DO NOT CREATE ANOTHER PROJECT

THE SHORT ANSWER

Use one route:

  1. Skip favors.
  2. Give one edible thing.
  3. Give one genuinely useful thing.
  4. Let the activity output become the favor.

Route 4 is often the easiest because one expense does two jobs.

Nobody needs a tiny personalized object to prove she attended a nice shower.

Use what you have first. This guide only recommends buying something when a real shower job is still open. The full Bridal Shower Short Plan keeps shopping inside the bigger plan so “one more thing” does not become the whole shower.

01 — Close food and hosting before opening a favor budget

Write the favor ceiling only after:

are covered.

A $4 favor for 35 guests is $140 before tax and packaging.

That can be worth it.

It should be visible first.

Do not spend $140 on favors before the food budget is closed.

02 — Skip favors when the shower already gives plenty

Guests may already receive:

That is hospitality.

A favor is another layer.

It is allowed to be absent.

03 — Edible is the safest physical route

Good:

These disappear.

Avoid homemade food when it creates hours of final-week production.

A favor that keeps the host up until 1 a.m. is badly designed.

04 — Let the activity be the favor

If guests make:

that can be the takeaway.

Do not put a favor bag beside the flower bar.

One object can do two jobs.

05 — Useful means normal enough to use

A practical item becomes less practical when printed with:

Ashley’s Bridal Shower 10.10.26

Personalize the tag or wrapper instead.

Let the object remain:

That increases the chance it survives past Monday.

06 — Plants need a transport plan

Small plants can be lovely.

They also create:

Use them when guests can transport them easily.

Skip them when everyone is leaving a restaurant with purses, umbrellas, coats, and gifts.

07 — Reusable bags can be useful when the bag is actually good

Use:

A reusable bag can also carry:

That can remove the need for favor packaging.

08 — DIY gets a stopwatch

Make one.

Time it.

Multiply by guest count.

Then add packaging.

Forty favors × six minutes = four hours before cleanup.

If that still sounds fun, make them.

If it sounds exhausting, buy something simpler or skip the favor.

09 — Game prizes and favors are different categories only if you need both

If you already bought:

ask whether 35 separate favors add anything.

The answer may be no.

10 — Use the favor chooser

The favor earns its place when it will be:

If the likely route is:

drawer → guilt → trash

Skip it. The favor decision is complete.

THIS DECISION IS DONE

Favors are closed—whether you chose one or skipped them.

That decision now gets one line in the budget and shopping list. It does not get to reopen because you see another cute idea tomorrow.

The Bridal Shower Builder carries the decision into the whole plan and shows you what still actually needs your attention.
