What you are buying
The Short Plan products are digital. No physical item is shipped. A listing may include downloadable files, access to an online Short Plan Builder, or both. The listing will state the included formats, features, access period and any software or printing requirements. Product photographs and filled examples may show sample handwriting, décor or supplies that are not included.
Delivery and access
Files are delivered through Payhip. Download and save a backup promptly. Builder purchases use a private access link sent to the checkout email. The link works like a password; do not post or forward it. A fresh link can be requested while the purchase remains active. Access periods can depend on the listing and provider, and permanent cloud storage is not promised unless the listing says otherwise.
Your personal-use license
- Use the files and Builder to plan your own personal occasion.
- Print the reasonable number of copies needed for that occasion and your own records.
- Share an exported working copy with co-hosts or vendors solely to carry out that same occasion.
- Keep an unmodified file backup for your own future reference.
Uses the license does not allow
- Reselling, sublicensing or redistributing the files or Builder access.
- Posting or forwarding a private Builder access link to give another person product access.
- Uploading files to a shared drive, membership, marketplace, social group or public website.
- Giving the complete product to another person for a separate occasion.
- Removing branding and presenting the text, system or design as your own.
- Using the product in a paid event-planning, template or client-service business without a separate commercial license.
- Extracting pages, copy, calculations, decision rules or design elements to create a competing product.
Printing and fillable files
Screen colors and printed colors vary by device, printer, ink and paper. Print at the size stated in the listing and check the preview before printing a full copy. Fillable behavior can vary inside a browser; downloading the file and opening it in a compatible PDF application usually provides the most reliable result.
Contact hello@theshortplan.com if a promised field, page or file does not work as described. Include the order email, device, application and a screenshot that does not reveal sensitive information.
Updates and corrections
We may correct typographical, calculation, file-function or Builder problems. Whether an order includes future feature updates will be stated in the product listing. A corrected replacement for a materially defective purchased file or restored Builder access may be provided under the Refund Policy.

The files, copy, layouts and planning system remain the intellectual property of The Short Plan. The purchase gives you permission to use them under this policy; it does not transfer ownership.
