By using this website, downloading a resource or buying a product, you agree to these Terms and the policies linked from them. If you disagree, do not use or purchase the affected service. Purchases are available to adults who can enter a binding agreement, or through a parent or legal guardian.
Website and guide use
You may read, save links to and use the public planning guides for personal purposes. You may not scrape the site at scale, interfere with its operation, bypass security, submit harmful code, misuse forms, or reproduce substantial portions as your own publication or product.
Planning information
The guides and products provide general planning information. They cannot evaluate every guest, venue, contract, allergy, food-safety condition, accessibility need, law or local rule. Check current vendor terms, product labels, government guidance and professional advice when the decision requires them. You remain responsible for the event decisions you make.
Purchases and delivery
Product descriptions, prices and included files displayed at checkout form part of the purchase. You agree to provide accurate billing and delivery information and to pay the stated amount. Digital delivery may be handled by a third-party checkout provider. Contact us promptly if a paid file does not arrive or cannot be opened.
Digital-product license
A purchase grants the limited personal-use license described in the Digital Product Policy. Copyright and all other ownership rights remain with The Short Plan. Buying a file does not transfer the design, text, system or resale rights.
Refunds
Digital-product refunds and replacements are governed by the Refund Policy shown before checkout. Nothing in these Terms removes a right that applicable law does not allow a seller to waive.
Intellectual property
The Short Plan name, wordmark, site design, copy, guides, calculations, worksheets, Ready Page system, product files and original images are protected by applicable intellectual-property law. Permitted personal printing and event use do not authorize resale, public posting, template extraction or creation of a competing derivative product.
Third-party services and links
The website may link to vendors, government sources, affiliates or service providers. A link does not guarantee a third party's availability, accuracy, safety or performance. Third-party purchases and services are governed by that provider's terms. Affiliate relationships will be disclosed near the relevant recommendation.
Availability and changes
We may correct errors, update guides, change prices, revise products, or suspend parts of the website. A purchase includes the files and update rights stated in its product description at the time of sale. We do not promise lifetime access or lifetime updates unless the listing expressly says so.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The website and free resources are provided as available. To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Short Plan disclaims implied warranties that can legally be disclaimed. We do not guarantee a particular event outcome, attendance level, vendor performance, budget result or search ranking.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Short Plan will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses arising from use of the site or a product. Total liability for a paid product will not exceed the amount paid for that product. These limits do not apply where applicable law prohibits them.
Ohio law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Before filing a claim, please email hello@theshortplan.com with the order details and requested resolution so we have a fair opportunity to address the problem.
